Side Fairing - Fixed: Toe-In or Gear Wrap

  • Select Aerofficient's™ "Toe-In" fairing if you run dry vans or if you want the best available basic side fairing. The toe-in angle has been carefully researched and yields optimal performance.
  • Select Aerofficient's "Gear Wrap" fairing if you run refrigerated trailers.
  • Why a gear wrap?
    • The tractor's spinning drive wheels crate a vortex which needs to be channeled outward (this is why most fairings angle inward at their front end)
    • The refrigerated trailer's fuel tank acts as a an air dam, creating drag
    • Starting the fairing behind the fuel tank significantly shortens the fairing, reducing its effectiveness, and ignores the air dam created by the fuel tank
