Chuck Blake

Chuck Blake has been involved and employed in the heavy duty trucking transportation industry since graduating from college with a bachelor of science degree in engineering in the early 70s.

"I enjoy the hands-on aspects and parallel path engineering responsibilities including driving and evaluating the latest technologies, both products and systems. Before employment at Detroit Diesel I worked as a truck / trailer / refrigeration technician gaining valuable real world experience "in the pits", so to speak. I am presently employed at Detroit Diesel as a senior technical sales support manager and a silver spark plug recipient of TMC. I helped engineer power for trucks used in truck racing and the movie "License to Kill". I also enjoy the actual driving challenge of maximizing fuel efficiency. "
